INCOIS Recruitment notification for the year 2021 has been released. The notification details the outline for the recruitment process along with the eligibility criteria and other fulfillment that the candidate must fulfill.

1. Project Scientist III :- 45 years
2. Project Scientist II :- 40 years

INCOIS Educational Qualification –

1. Project Scientist III :- Masters Degree in Computers/ Information Technology or Masters degree in Engineering/ Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Sciences/ Zoology/ Marine Sciences with 60% marks Or Ph.D in Physical Oceanography/ Marine Sciences/ Atmospheric.
2. Project Scientist II :- Masters Degree in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Sciences/ Zoology/ Marine Sciences with 60% marks. or Ph.D in Science.
3. Project Scientist I :- Masters Degree in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Sciences/ Zoology/ Marine Sciences with 60% marks. or Ph.D in Computer Science.
4. Project Scientist Assistant II :- B.Sc Degree min Computer/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Biology/ Zoology OR BCA or 3 years Diploma in Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks.
5. Project Scientist Assistant I :- B.Sc Degree min Computer/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Biology/ Zoology OR BCA or 3 years Diploma in Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks.

INCOIS Selection Process –

1. The selection for the posts shall be on the basis of performance of the screened-in candidates in the interview/written test depending upon the post.
2. No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the interview/written examination except Out-station SC/ST candidates called for interview/written examination who will be paid to-and-fro Sleeper-class railway/Bus fare by the shortest route on production of proof of journey tickets etc.

1. Project Scientist III / II / I :- Through Written test / Interview
2. Project Scientist Assistant II / I :- Through Written Test only

INCOIS Pay Scale –

1. Project Scientist III :- Rs.78,000/-
2. Project Scientist II :- Rs.67,000/-
3. Project Scientist I :- Rs.56,000/-
4. Project Scientist Assistant II :- Rs.50,000/-
5. Project Scientist Assistant I :- Rs.39,000/-
