Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has started the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’’ to be filled based on GATE Score at constituent ISRO Centres (Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts). The total numbers of vacancies are 68. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts through the official website on or before 19 December 2022.

ISRO Recruitment 2022 –
ISRO Recruitment notification for the year 2022 has been released. This includes the recruitment process, eligibility criteria and other important details.
All details of the eligibility along with the various important factors that a candidate must comply is given in this post. We will look at the vacancy, type of post, and the candidates eligible also.

Selection Process-
The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for an Interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interviews in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE Scores awarded and not on GATE marks or GATE Rank.
The candidates will be assessed based on the following attributes, viz. Technical (Academic) knowledge [40 marks], General Awareness in relevance to the area of Specialisation (technical) [20 marks]; Presentation/Communication Skill [20 marks]; Comprehension [10 marks] and Academic achievements [10 marks], totaling 100 marks.
Candidates will have to score a minimum of 60 marks in the Interview and PWBD candidates will have to score a minimum of 50 marks in the Interview. For the generation of the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to GATE Scores and 50% weightage to Interview marks.
