REC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria –

Qualification :

  • General Manager (Engineering), Dy. General Manager (Engineering), Chief Manager (Engineering), Manager (Engineering), Deputy Manager (Engineering), Assistant Manager (Engineering), Officer (Engineering) – Regular full time Bachelors in Engineering/ B. Tech. or equivalent in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Engineering/ Power System Engineering/ Mechanical or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA.
  • For Deputy Manager – Regular full time Bachelors in Engineering/ B. Tech. or equivalent in Civil or equivalent (for Civil maintenance post) /Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics or equivalent (for Electrical maintenance post) from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA.
  • For Dy. General Manager (F&A) and Officer (F&A) – Chartered Accountancy/ Cost and Management Accountancy.
  • For Dy. General Manager (HR), Manager (HR), and Deputy Manager (HR) – Regular fulltime two-year course-MBA or Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma from recognized/ reputed Institution/ University or equivalent with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Human Resource Management or equivalent with first division or equivalent CGPA.
  • For Manager (IT), Deputy Manager (IT), Assistant Manager (IT), and Officer (IT) – Regular full-time Bachelor in Engineering/ B. Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent or Post Graduate Degree viz. MCA/ M.Tech./ MCS/ MSc. in IT/ Computers or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA. 
  • For General Manager (CC), Deputy Manager (CC), and Assistant Manager (CC) – Regular fulltime two-year course-MBA or Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in Corporate Communication & Public Relations related specialization viz. Communication/ Advertising & Communication Management /Mass communication /Journalism etc. or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA.
  • For Assistant Manager (CS) – Graduate with Associate/ Fellow Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
  • For Assistant Officer (Secretarial) – Regular fulltime graduate or equivalent from a recognized institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA with a speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typewriting and good knowledge of MS Office.
  • For Assistant Officer (Rajbhasha) – Regular full time- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level; Or Master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level from a recognized Institute/ University with First Division or equivalent CGPA And Degree or Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or 3- month Translation Course conducted by Central Translation Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs

Age Limit :

33 to 52 years.

Application Fee :

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹ 1,000/- (One Thousand Only). Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PwBD, Ex-servicemen and internal candidates are exempted from payment of this application fee.
