SWR Recruitment notification for the year 2022-23 has been released. This includes the recruitment process, eligibility criteria and other important details.

SWR Recruitment Eligibility Criteria –
Qualification :
Passed 12th (+2 stage), B.Sc. (Physics), Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized University.
Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT from a recognized institution (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification.
Age Limit :
18 to 25 years.

Selection Process –
For this Recruitment, all eligible candidates will be called for the trials. Trials of the eligible candidates shall be conducted to assess their sports performance and suitability. The dates for trials will be notified later and published on the South Western Railway website and will be held at Hubballi/Bengaluru/Mysuru or at any other notified places as decided by the Administration. While all efforts will be made to inform the candidates well in advance, the candidates are cautioned that they may have to appear in the selection trials at short notice. The candidates are advised to regularly check the website for information in this regard.
Examination Fee-
The examination fee is Rs.500/- for all categories. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Women/ Minorities/Economically Backward Classes (EBCs), the examination fee is Rs.250/-.
